lately it seems like each day lyla's language skills are improving. i can usually decipher about 1 word in 10 that come out of her mouth. her latest sentence sounds like this:
"osha wan und gowa steeetch"
this is the first thing she says to me when i go in her room in the morning to get her out of bed. the decipherable word: steeetch. i put the movie "lilo and stitch" into my car the other day and now she can't get enough. she wants to watch it over and over and over. so each morning, while i am making a fabulous breakfast (aka toast or eggos or cereal or, when i am feeling nice, banana pancakes) they roll out the yoga mat, fight over who gets to sit where, and watch 10 minutes of "steeetch".
i do have to say though, watching her dance and sing during all the songs makes it one of my favorite parts of the day!
