corey turned 30 on may 27. i thought about throwing a surprise party or just inviting friends and family over for a bbq. i thought about renting out some fun gaming place....but he guessed i would try something. so he decided that he just wanted to go to st. george for the weekend, thwarting any chance i had a surprising him with anything. but it's okay. you should get what you want on your birthday.
so we opened some presents in the morning.
he loved his new sunglasses.
the kids and i did sneak in a fill his car with balloons and write on all the windows. hopefully that embarrassed him a little.
and here is his birthday cake.
he blew out the candle, we ate up the little cake, jumped in the car and headed south for the holiday weekend.
hopefully he had a great birthday. i thought about making a list of 30 reasons why my hubby is so great but each time i started i would end up with a kid on each leg begging me to play outside or watch some kid show on tv. and then his birthday came and went and now i feel like it is too late to make the list...just know that he is pretty great and i love, love him, and there are way more than just 30 reasons he is great anyway.

seriously sometimes i think we married brothers ... sean turns 30 this year and I kept thinking of ways i could do a big blowout birthday and the other day he said "lets not do a big party, I would rather do something with just us ... parties arent as fun for me as they are for you to plan" busted.
