i love signing my kids up for swimming lessons in the summer. it gets us out of the house and it makes them think i am super cool for taking them swimming every day for two weeks. i had a huge problem this year though: i have two babies in the mommy and me class and there is only one of me. i recruited my little sis to come with me every day (i still think i owe her something awesome for helping) and it was a blast.

and how nice of me was it to hide myself behind children so that you wouldn't be blinded by the pure whiteness of my skin?? pretty nice, right?

whenever the teacher would ask us to try something new with the babies, aleksa would decide which kid she thought would be easier to do the trick with and then she would make me trade her. every time the teacher told us to dunk them under the water she would say, "i get grant. he's not old enough to be mad at me after i dunk him." apparently she is afraid of my sweet lyla....k i was a little worried she'd be mad too but she was great!

i can't believe that next year lyla will be old enough to be in her own class. yay for swim school, as kaleb calls it.

Ok in that first picture it almost looks like i'm picking my crotch until you zoom in a little bit and see that its just holding my other hand :) I had SO much fun doing that!!!
