it is chritsmas eve. kaleb has been in his bed for 45 minutes. corey and i are just giving him time to fall asleep before we tell santa to start bringing in the goods. we've had the baby monitor on so that we can hear if kaleb is making any noise, so as to assure he is really sleeping. like i said, he's been in bed for 45 minutes...but all of a sudden, the monitor comes to life, meaning kaleb is upstairs making some sort of noise. and what do we hear on the monitor...
...a sweet little voice singing, "deck the halls with boughs of holly, falalalalalalalala, tis the season to be jolly, falalalalalalalala, deck the halls with boughs of holly..."
he is just repeating those two lines over and over. that has been his favorite song lately.
now, i have spoken with santa and had to tell him that he was giving kaleb too much stuff for christmas. santa agreed to leave the extras and let us give them to kaleb for his birthday, but after this little bit of cuteness, kaleb may just be scoring a double load for the holidays.
