on the 24th of july we headed over to the best parade evvah! the mapleton parade is so awesome (aka short) and my kids love to sit and watch. we made it over there just in time...and almost got to sit in the shade...but there was water in the shady gutter and that would have been a disaster with my kids! so we moved to the sunny side of the street and luckily it didn't get too hot!

these two boys had to stay in the shade: grant, so as not to sunburn his sweet baby skin and grandpa g., so as not to sunburn his sweet bald head!

and my favorite...this is the only parade you will find where the stake presidency is one of the parade highlights! isn't that an awesome car?
after the parade we had a nice late breakfast and then did a little shopping. it is starting to get a little easier to go out with all three kids. it is still a lot of work, but getting easier and more normal!
