just playing

kaleb asks me about ten times a day to come and play trains with him. and most times i only get to play for minutes before baby lyla starts demanding some attention. so today when he asked i said yes and just laid lyla down next to us for some tummy time (i figured if she is going to cry when i lay her down anyway she might and well get the cries out during some useful tummy time!) and started making what kaleb calls a "large track". we finished the track, flipped lyla onto her back and started playing.

we made tunnels

and had a treat
then i look over at baby and she is all sprawled out...so cute...and sleeping
kaleb pretended to take a nap with her
and gave her lots of kisses on her head

and of course, a self portrait! (i keep looking at this picture and thinking there is something in my teeth...nope...that is just one of kaleb's curly locks covering anything it can find!)
it was nice to have some much needed play time with kaleb. so fun!
