a couple baby milestones have occurred for lyla today.
first, she had rice cereal for the first time. as you can see from the look on her face she wasn't quite sure why i was doing this to her.
after a few tries she finally decided to swallow what i put in her mouth and not just spit it all out.

yesterday i bought some teeny-tiny hair elastics and this morning we gave it a try. after about 10 minutes of struggling with her bobble head i finally got the elastic in pretty good.
it is so fun to watch her grow up. i wish it would slow down so i could remember everything better.
