conversations, part duh...i mean deux

today is corey's birthday.  his 28th to be exact. so i figured i would do one of my "conversations" posts on him today so that you can all know just a little more about him.  

(this is corey in dallas.  the X is the spot where jfk was shot)

i asked him lots of questions and afterwards he said, "bytheway, you should already know the answers to all of those questions you just asked me. duh!"  well just so you know corey, i did know all the answers. i just wanted to make sure i got the wording right for this post so ha!

our conversation went something like this:

me: good morning.  happy birthday!

corey: thanks.

me: what's your favorite show on tv right now?

corey: the unit. {long pause} but i really like boston legal and grey's anatomy and prison break and the office too.  i watched john and kate plus 8  last night.  that was pretty funny.

me: what's your favorite color?

corey: blue. cougar blue. {please note: he answered this question as if he were saying "bond. james bond."}

me: if you could have any car right now what would it be?

corey:  does this have to be a realistic car or like a dream car?

me:  ANY car.

corey: an aston martin

me: i don't think i even know what as aston martin looks like.

corey: that's too bad.

me: last question.  what is your favorite song to sing in the shower?

corey: psha! DUH, HANNAH MONTANA...pull the limo round front ch ch hottest style every shoe every color.  being famous is kinda fun...but no one ever discovers.

me: you missed a few words there.

corey:   whatever.

...five minutes later...

corey:  hey!  will you call nancy today and remind her that she said she would make me cookies for my birthday...the sugar kind with frosting on them.

me:  um, no.

well it IS his birthday...so nancy if you ever read this...consider this your reminder!

i know that is just seems like any other day but i hope it is still a good one!
