over the past couple months i have been getting a new bedroom ready for lyla as well as her new baby brother. again, the walls are a little bare right now but i am just too pooped to care anymore. here is something close to the finished product:

the lovely curtains (shout out to my momma who helped me sew the curtains for both of these kiddos new rooms. woot woot to you, mom!), dresser (that i heart mucho!) and the bed (that lyla will sleep in when she is no longer a baby)
this is the bed that she is currently sleeping in...i love cribs. i will make her sleep in this until she learns to climb out of it.

like i said, bare walls. just like in baby's room, i am waiting for THIS to come in the mail to go above her bed. i'm not sure why i love the walls decals from that site so much...oh yeah. maybe cause they are awesome! (way better than the "live, laugh, love" or the "i hope you dance" crap you get at the craft stores. no offense to those of you that have those sayings affixed to your walls.)
it is such a relief to feel like i am just inches (as opposed to miles) away from being totally done with these rooms...but i am feeling the itch to give kaleb's room a little face lift when life reaches the point of normalcy again. kaleb's will be fun because he will be able to choose stuff he loves to go in there.
tomorrow morning i am headed for the 5th floor...

as always AD-oreable! OMGosh, I want a cute little decale from THERE to go in Madelines room..when she has one! ADOOREABLE!!! LOVE the bedding too! I agree..Madeline will sleep in a crib until she can get up, climb over and help herself safely to the ground:)
