my wonderful mother came and picked up my older kids and took them to her house to play the other day. they always have fun when they are over there. i decided that i wanted to drive over and pick them up (instead of her bringing them back) so that i could get out of the house. when i got there kaleb was on the front porch with his grandpa and i pointed to a potato bug and told him to check it out. my dad rolls his eyes and says, "kaleb has a bunch in the house that he already caught earlier." i was wondering why my dad rolled his eyes. so kaleb likes the rolly-poley (sp?) bugs, big deal.
and then. kaleb shows me. his cup. of bugs...
what? that doesn't look like a lot to you. well here is a side view...
seriously, there are probably like 300 potato bugs in this cup and it makes me want to barf just looking at it. kaleb insists on bringing it home to show his dad. then he insists that we can't throw the cup away until they all die (i refuse to put that many bugs into my yard). and i am pretty sure they are eating each other cause it's been 2 days and they are all still moving around in there. just die already!
tonight, after he goes to bed, i am trashing the cup so that i don't have to look at it anymore. and then when i say my prayers, i am going to pray that kaleb forgets about the cup and doesn't ask me tomorrow where his rolly-poleys have gone. eeewwwww

all I can say is YUCK! If you have any neighbors you dont like, you could always "SHARE" them with them:)

HAHA your welcome!! Kaleb and I spent like 2 hours finding all of those! the cool thing is when you hold them up to your ear you can hear them crawling around on each other! haah i love doing dirty things with my nieces and nephews and then sending them home!
