after much waiting, i finally got the long awaited call from my awesome hubby this afternoon telling me that the crib was done being painted and that i could pick it up (thank you central auto body for doing us the silly favor of painting a crib for us, but that's another story!).
so off i went to pick up the crib. it looks so great, way better than if we had painted it ourselves. i was too impatient to wait for corey to get home to carry it upstairs for me and help me put it together so i went ahead and did it myself. when corey got home, he found me doing this:

(bytheway...cribs have too many pieces. i am the one that took this thing apart and i still had a hard time getting it back together)
after hard work and a few minor contractions, this is the finished product:

doesn't the bedding look beautiful all put together and in a newly painted but not new crib? (**sniff, sniff, tear** i can't believe the bedding turned out as good as i imagined it, yay for the rockin' bedding)
i have a couple of finishing touches to put on the room this weekend and then i will post the finished product of the baby's room.

That looks beautiful! I can't believe you made all of this. We are going to have to come visit so I can see the room up close. Love it!
