Stadium of Fire!!!

ok. i know that you are all totally singing the stadium of fire song in your head right now...and i apologize. cause it never goes away.

we haven't been to the stadium of fire for the past few years.  we have just felt like it was the same old show blah blah blah...but this year miley cyrus was the headliner. and we all know how corey feels about hannah montana...too bad she didn't sing any hannah songs.  but corey did leave the show singing to himself, "let's go, GNO!"

anyway, the main reason for going was because kaleb adores fireworks.  and he wasn't disappointed.

at the beginning of the show were the skydivers.  it was so windy and their chutes were going crazy!  here is kaleb holding his arms out while yelling, "don worry. i'll catchuu."  he was very worried about them.

here we are as the giant banner that says "WHITE" is flying over us and down the stands.

corey and i rockin' our hothothot 3d-type glasses.

and there she is. miley cyrus....what's that?  you can't see her.  yeah, well...neither could we.  super gracias to the 3 jumbo-trons!

kaleb doesn't like to wear glasses.  so we had to force these onto his face so that he could be amazed at these did to the already amazing fireworks.  once he caught a glimpse of the 3d-ish fireworks, he was hooked.

all things considered it was a fun night.  the fireworks were great, kaleb loved it and that was our main goal.  but, whoever is in charge of the sound for performers (miley in this case): you REALLY suck.  we could barely hear the girl singing...but when she was just talking we did hear that.  i think she said how excited she was to be in utah like, 12 times.  she also said (speaking about the war in iraq) that she knows "god has a plan for us" and then she followed that up by saying, and i quote (hhmmm, hhmmm) "and i am stoked about that plan!"

me too, miley.  me too.
